How do I place an order with Checks Unlimited?

How long does it take to print the checks?
Standard printing time can vary, but generally takes 2-5 business days. If you need the checks sooner, we offer an in-plant rush that will cut your processing time to 2 business days. This selection may be made on the delivery options page of the site order form.
How can I cancel my order?
We apologize, but we are unable to cancel an order online. Please call 1-800-210-0468 and speak with a representative for further assistance. Our business hours are Monday thru Friday from 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM, Saturday 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Sunday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Mountain Time.
I just opened an account with my bank. What documentation do I need to order checks?
You may place your order online as long as the information you provide matches what your bank has on file. Please have one of your checks you are presently using, not a deposit slip, in front of you for reference to help assure prompt fulfillment of your order.

Your check information MUST match the records on file at your financial institution. All orders are subject to verification. Please review all of the information you have entered, double-checking it against the information on your existing checks. For your security, if the information you have provided is not accurate, there may be a delay in the processing of your order. Order fulfillment is limited to U.S. residents.

How can I order additional deposit slips for my personal checking account?
Deposit slips may be ordered online in the same manner as checks. However at this time you may not order checks and deposit slips on the same order. For instructions on how to place your deposit slip order online, visit our "How To Order" page.

How can I get additional vinyl checkbook covers?
Additional vinyl covers are currently unavailable for order on the website. You may place an order by phone at 1-800-210-0468.
Do you have NFL checks?
At this time there are no immediate plans to carry a design of this nature. We do carry a variety of sports checks such as MLB, NBA, and NASCAR. Please check our Web site periodically for new designs.
What is your return policy if the customer is not satisfied with the checks ordered?

What are duplicate checks?
Duplicate checks are manufactured into pads comprised of alternating sheets of carbonless check paper and lighter identically numbered plain paper. The carbonless check paper automatically records every transaction onto the plain paper to create a permanent reference copy. Our entire personal check line is available in your choice of one-part or duplicate checks.
What are Side-Tear Checks?
Side-Tear Checks are bound into pads on the left side rather than across the top. Many customers believe Side-Tear checks are easier to tear off of the check pad.
What is a Side-Tear Converter?

A Side-Tear Converter is a vinyl insert that will convert your Top Tear checkbook cover into a Side-Tear checkbook cover in two easy steps.

Step #1    Insert the Side-Tear converter flap into the bottom section of your checkbook cover.

Step #2    Slide the cardboard backing of your checks into the pocket of the converter.

When will I receive my checks?

PLEASE NOTE: Your check information MUST match the records on file at your financial institution. All orders are subject to verification. Please review all of the information you have entered, double-checking it against the information on your existing checks. For your security, if the information you have provided is not accurate, there may be a delay in the processing of your order. Order fulfillment is limited to U.S. residents.

To determine when you could expect to receive your order, you need to consider when you placed the order and the shipping option you selected. We use the following equation:

Time to Verify Account Information + Time to Produce Order + Delivery Method Ship Time = Total Delivery Time

Example: A check order that has been verified & produced (2 to 5 days) and is sent via standard delivery (7 to 14 days) will arrive in 9 to 19 business days.

Domestic orders can be sent via Standard, Trackable, Guaranteed 2-Day, or by Overnight Shipping. These selections may be made on the delivery options page of the site order process. Use the following table to calculate your total ship time.

How long will it take to receive my Visa Gift Card?

What if I want my checks shipped to a different address?
As a matter of protecting your security, we cannot ship check orders to a different address than the one imprinted on the order. This is one of the ways Checks Unlimited ensures the security and protection of your personal and financial information.

I saw a printed advertisement for a special offer. Can I get this special offer when I order online?
YES! We offer special pricing and offers to both Introductory and Reorder Customers. If you see a special offer on one of our print advertisements, please look for the "Offer Code" and directions that are printed within the ordering instructions on the ad. To redeem the offer online, please follow the below guidelines:

May I use a coupon when I order online?
You may presently use a coupon only when you mail it in with your order. We are not able to process a coupon online.

YES! Checks Unlimited offers the convenience of ordering Checkbook Covers, Personalized Stamps, and other accessories online.

PLEASE NOTE: Accessory items are subject to applicable per item handling fees.

What is the difference in Checks Unlimited checks and the ones I order from my bank?
For servicing your account, NOTHING! However, when you order checks directly from Checks Unlimited, you could SAVE 50% (or more) compared to purchasing your checks through the bank. Plus, you can choose from over 80 top exclusive designs.
How are taxes calculated on orders?
Taxes are currently collected for Colorado residents only.

Existing checks are not replaced free of charge. However, if you open a new account you qualify for the introductory offer on your new supply of checks.

If you would rather mail in a separate order, please request the cancellation of your internet order and mail in an order form with a voided check, payment check (from the same account) and order information.

    How long does the song/sound play?
    19 seconds for the song/ 10 seconds for the sound
    Does the song/sound stop automatically?
    Yes. The song/sound will stop at the end of the 19/10 seconds. It will also stop when you close the checkbook cover that you have the Sound Insert placed in.
    How does the Sound Insert work?
    The Sound Insert comes with 2 pieces. One part has the speaker which the sound is played and the other part has a magnet component which triggers the sound to start and stop. The Sound Insert will play when the 2 pieces are apart. When the 2 pieces are together the sound will not play.
    How do I insert the Sound Insert in my checkbook cover?
    The Sound Insert will come with instructions pre-printed on the insert. Place the part with the arrow pointing up in the top flap of your checkbook cover. Place the part with the arrow pointing down in the bottom flap of your checkbook cover.
    Will the Sound Insert fit in any checkbook cover?
    Yes. The Sound Insert should fit in any standardized checkbook cover.
    Will the Sound Insert work in a larger wallet/checkbook cover with credit cards, etc.?
    Yes. It should work in a larger wallet/checkbook cover that includes your credit cards.
    Will the magnets in the Sound Insert de-magnetize my credit cards?
    No. The magnets should not de-magnetize your debit/credit cards.
    How do I throw away the Sound Insert?
    The Sound Insert is disposable and does not have any special requirements for disposing.
    How can I hear the songs/sounds?
    The songs/sounds are not available online or through the mail until 2009. You can listen to a limited number of the sounds through the special email (if the customer received the targeted email) otherwise you will have to wait until 2009 to hear the songs/sounds on www.ChecksUnlimited.com.
    Are there other songs/sounds available? When will new songs be available?
    Check back periodically. New songs/sounds are being evaluated.
    Can I put my own song on the Sound Insert, or record a message?
    No, not at this time. But we are looking into new ways to expand the Sound Insert.
